Information Centre Vellamo encompasses workstations for independent study and three research room each equipped for studying a specific type of material (archives, photographs and AV-materials). All research rooms are equipped with computers. The information Centre also has locking storage cabinets.
In addition, patrons have 13 computers at their disposal, four of which are so called quick-use computers.
The use of electronic services and materials in the Information Centre requires registration. Non-patrons will be granted a visitor card at the customer service desk. The card allows visitors to log in and have access to the electronic materials and services of the contributors of the Information Centre.
