In addition to book collections, Information Centre Vellamo offers access to the documents, charts and illustrations of the Maritime Museum of Finland and the Museum of Kymenlaakso, as well as to the pictures and recordings of photo archives.
At the information Centre or via the Internet, you can acquaint yourself with the archive collections and the commercial fleet database of the Maritime Museum of Finland, as well as the collection browser of the Finnish National Board of Antiquities.
More information on the archive collections of the Museum of Kymenlaakso can be found on the web site of the museum. KYHIKA database (Historical Maps of Kymenlaakso) is available on the Internet or via the client computers in library facilities. The library also provides printouts of maps in KYHIKA collection.
