In Play Town, you can throw yourself into the world of playing houses, market stalls or even hop on a tractor. And if you want to get out on the water, get into a boat. It’s also worth trying your luck at fishing! Or perhaps you would like to immerse yourself in the world of browsable books.
After your games, thank you for leaving the space tidy for the next children. Play Town is for all of us!
Maritime Centre Vellamo also has many other things to see and do for people of all ages. Can you find all activity points at Vellamo? There are a lot of them, scattered all around the building – good luck in your search!
NB! Play Town is open until Sunday 4th of August 2024. After that, we will start building the new Never Never Town exhibition on the site.
But don’t worry! You’ll still get to ride a tractor, only instead of bales of hay, you’ll be transporting paper rolls on a cargo ship. You can also build colourful block houses, visit a neighbour, hang out in the nearby forest or even sit down for a ‘posso‘ at the market. Just like grown-ups do in a real city.
Oh, and there will be a slide (!) at the exhibition. So it’s worth waiting a while, the play will continue again on 15th of October 2024.
